"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a 1993 stop-motion animated musical fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. The film follows the story of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, who grows tired of his annual Halloween routine and stumbles into Christmas Town. Fascinated by the concept of Christmas, Jack decides to take over Christmas and bring it to Halloween Town. However, his plan goes awry when he realizes that he doesn't understand the true meaning of Christmas, and that his actions have caused chaos and confusion among the human population. The film explores themes of individuality, self-discovery, and the dangers of trying to fit in where you don't belong. Before Christmas comes, Sally tries to stop Jack but fails because Jack's ghost dog Zero possesses a glowing nose. So Zero led the coffin-shaped cart that helped Jack distribute to children around the world. But his gifts (including human heads, snakes eating pine trees, pumpkins with Jack in a box, vampire teddy bears, toy ducks with pointed teeth, moving holy wreaths, etc.) scare the kids. The parents immediately informed the police. The anti-aircraft alarm system was activated, the searchlights illuminated the sky to help people locate Jack and shoot him down with cannons. The trailer crashes and the Halloween townsfolk think Jack is dead, but in fact he survives and lands in a graveyard. Although disappointed that the plan fell through, Jack quickly regained his spirit and came up with new ideas for next year's Halloween season (the song "Poor Jack"), where he rushed home. Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is tired of the same old thing every year: the monsters come out and perform a real scare. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween. But the atmosphere is not conducive to Jack's newfound sensibility.
