Spring Baking Championship is a cooking competition TV show that airs on Food Network. In Season 9, which premiered in 2021, ten talented bakers compete to impress the judges and win the $25,000 prize. Each episode consists of several challenges, with bakers creating desserts and pastries that showcase their skills in baking, decorating, and flavor combinations. The challenges range from making floral-themed cakes to creating desserts inspired by springtime ingredients like strawberries and rhubarb. Throughout the competition, the bakers face tough critiques from the judges, including Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown. The judges evaluate each dessert based on taste, presentation, and creativity, and one baker is eliminated each week until a winner is crowned in the finale. Eight professional bakers compete to win the title of the Spring Baking Champion and $50,000. Each round is started with a preheat challenge and the winner gains an advantage for the main heat.
