"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The movie follows Peter Parker, a high school student who gains spider-like abilities and becomes the superhero known as Spider-Man. After helping the Avengers in a mission, Peter returns home to New York City, where he attempts to balance his life as a student with his duties as a superhero. However, his plans are disrupted when he crosses paths with the villainous Vulture, who threatens the safety of the city and everyone Peter cares about. Several months after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker, with the help of his mentor Tony Stark, tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens, New York City while fighting crime as his superhero alter ego Spider-Man as a new threat, the Vulture, emerges.
