"Shazam!" is a 2019 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The story follows Billy Batson, played by Asher Angel, a troubled teenage orphan who gains the ability to transform into an adult superhero, played by Zachary Levi, by saying the word "Shazam." As Billy explores his newfound powers, he must also face off against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, played by Mark Strong, who seeks to harness the same magical powers for his own gain. We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batsons case, by shouting out one word - SHAZAM! - this streetwise fourteen-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam.
