Flipper is an American television series that originally aired from 1964 to 1967. However, in 1995, a second season of the series was produced and aired. The second season of Flipper featured 22 episodes and starred Jessica Alba, Elizabeth Morehead, Whip Hubley, and Wren T. Brown. The second season of Flipper continued to follow the adventures of a bottlenose dolphin named Flipper and his human friends who lived on an island in the Florida Keys. The season included various storylines and adventures, including Flipper helping to rescue a man stranded on a deserted island, assisting in the capture of illegal shark fishermen, and saving a group of children from a dangerous hurricane. Ranger Porter Ricks is responsible for the animal and human life in Coral Key Park, Florida. Stories center on his 15-year-old son Sandy and 10-year-old Bud and, especially, on their pet dolphin Flipper.
