"Captain Marvel" is a 2019 superhero film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It follows the story of Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force pilot who becomes Captain Marvel after being exposed to alien technology. The film is set in the 1990s and sees Danvers, played by Brie Larson, joining forces with a young Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, to stop a war between the Kree and Skrull alien races. Carol Danvers becomes one of the universes most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
